You need to remove ur toilet to replace the bolts. First turn

off the water supply to the toilet & flush. Disconnect water supply line

not necessary. Use a sponge to remove excess water from tank & bowl.

Unscrew the other bolt & lift toilet up & over. Clean all the old wax from

the wax ring from toilet bottom & flange on floor. Inspect the flange &
make sure there aren't any cracks in it. Insert new bolts in flange. I
like to run an extra nut over the bolt before I put the toilet back on to
keep the bolts in place. Install new wax ring & place bowl over bolts &
press the toilet down so it gets a good seal. Alternate tightening bolts
but not so tight that you crack the toilet. Check for level on bowl(front
to back & side to side) & install rubber shims if necessary. Put tank back
on & reconnect water supply line.Use the toilet for a couple days & check
the bolts again to see if they need any more tightening after the toilet
settled in. Install ur bolt caps & caulk around the front & sides of the
toilet base leaving the back part uncaulked to detect any future leaks.
